Here is a close-up of the Mad Hatter's ensemble. The jacket is made of a crinkled irridescent fabric which turns brown and orange. His thread sash shown has multiple wooden spools with thread. The bow tie has various patterns on it and a copper pin to match.
Underneath is the vest and shirt. The vest is a patterned heavy satin material printed with brown gold and black. A vintage peach shirt is under the vest.
Here's a detail of the Mad Hatter's sleeve with lace edge.
Here pictured is the peach vintage shirt with wide sleeves, vest, bowtie, and a glimpse of the hat.
Here shown with a few more accessories. A pink handkerchief poking out of the coat pocket. On the other side a ribbon sash. Pictured also are copper boots and pin striped velvet pants.
A back shot of the vest and the hat side view. The hat has a silk scarf with fringe and embroidered flowers. The hat itself has been 100% hand constructed with a real peacock feather and 10/6 tag. The tag has been burned at the edges and burnt pieces of lace have been added to the hat to give the effect of being burnt (later in the movie). The hat has been treated and hand painted with black, gold, brown, and a bit of green paints and has been covered in heavy twills and lace accents.
