Dream Costume Designs - Fabric & Swatches

When contracting with us to do your custom costume, you will need to have some basic idea on what you want it made out of. If your picture, drawing, or sketch gives us an idea the fabric will be confirmed with you during the quote process but if you want to vary and have us create in a different color or material we will help you visualize.

Swatches are available at $2.00 each, and you can order as many as you want to play around with different combinations and material types. Once selected, just give us the swatch name or number and you are set. As well, we do allow customers to purchase their material and send it to us if you want to go to your local fabric shop and browse around. If you decide to do this, in the quoting phase, let us know so that we can deduct material costs. We will let you know exactly how many yards to buy of each to make your costume.

Want to see a little bit of some standard fabrics? View our material swatches for everyday basic fabrics. Pattern samples and specific designs can be emailed per project so you can have a visual to choose from as well. Please remember when ordering your swatches that fabrics do change throughout the seasons. It is best to order your swatches very close to putting down your deposit to ensure the fabric is available to create your piece.
